The Practice
A practice built on plain speech and steady work.
True North opened on Main Street twelve years ago with a simple standard: tell people what we see, what we can reasonably help with, and what we can't. Chiropractic care here is about comfort and mobility — helping backs, necks, and shoulders move more easily and sit more comfortably through ordinary life. We don't promise more than that, and we don't lecture.
Visits are unhurried. You'll always know what a visit involves before it starts, and what it costs before you book it.
Dr. Ellen Marsh
Licensed chiropractor · Twelve years in practice
Dr. Marsh has spent her whole career in Cass County, most of it with the same families — desk workers with stubborn shoulders, weekend athletes, parents-to-be looking for a more comfortable last trimester. Her style is unhurried and direct: she explains what she's doing, why, and what to expect afterward. If she thinks chiropractic care isn't the right fit for what's bothering you, she'll say so and point you toward your physician instead.

The practice at 507 Main St, Belton — treatment room, waiting area, and the front door on Main.
Care
Adjustments and support, honestly framed.
Everything we offer is in service of the same two things: moving more easily and sitting, standing, and sleeping more comfortably.

Chiropractic Adjustments
Manual and instrument-assisted adjustments, chosen visit by visit for what your back and neck actually need — and always explained before hands are laid on.
- Manual adjustments
- Instrument-assisted work
- Gentle options on request

Recovery & Comfort Support
Support for bodies that work hard — weekend athletes working stiffness out, desk workers easing recurring neck and shoulder tension, and prenatal positioning for a more comfortable stretch of pregnancy.
- Sports & activity recovery support
- Desk-work tension and posture support
- Prenatal-comfort positioning

Ongoing Care Plans
For patients who feel their best on a steady rhythm: frequency-based plans at a plain monthly price, discussed openly and never pushed. Come as often as helps — no more.
- Frequency set with you, not for you
- Plain monthly pricing
- Pause or stop anytime
An honest word on scope: chiropractic care at True North is comfort and mobility support. It is not a medical treatment or cure for any disease or condition, and we'll never frame it as one. For medical concerns, we'll always encourage you to see your physician — and we're glad to work alongside that care.

About 15 minutesYou and Dr. Marsh sit down — dressed as you are, no gown — and talk through what's been bothering you, what your days look like, and what "better" would mean for you.
- 2
A careful look
About 15 minutesA hands-on assessment of how your back, neck, and hips are moving. Everything is narrated as it happens; nothing is done without telling you first.
- 3
Straight answers
About 10 minutesWhat we found, what we think will help, and — just as plainly — anything we don't think chiropractic care is the right fit for.
- 4
Your first adjustment
About 15 minutesIf it makes sense and you're comfortable proceeding, your first adjustment happens the same visit. If you'd rather sleep on it, that's a fine answer too.

Fair Questions
Asked at the front desk, answered here.
Do you take insurance?
Many plans are accepted. Call the front desk at (816) 555-0182 with your card handy and we'll check your coverage before you book — you'll know your out-of-pocket cost, if any, before your first visit.
How quickly can I get in?
Most new patients are seen within the week, and there are usually same-day openings for returning patients — those go by phone, so call rather than using the form if today is the day.
What should I wear? Do I need to bring anything?
Come as you are — regular clothes are fine, and there are no gowns. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you'd like us to check it, and about an hour for a first visit.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral is needed to book. That said, we're happy to coordinate with your physician, and if we think what's bothering you needs medical attention rather than chiropractic support, we'll tell you plainly and point you their way.
Will you pressure me into a long care plan?
No. Plenty of our patients only ever book single visits. If a care plan would genuinely suit how you use the practice, we'll show you the same pricing table that's on this page and let you decide — month to month, pause or stop anytime.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Call or leave a message any time before your appointment. Life happens — there's no cancellation fee, we just appreciate as much notice as you can manage.
